BEYONCE ON HAVING BABY BLUE: "[Having a daughter] just gives you purpose and all of the things that my self-esteem was associated with, it's all completely different," Beyonce told Anderson Cooper during her Monday appearance on "Anderson Live." MAN WHO SHOT SHARK FOOTAGE FOR 'JAWS' DIES:
Ron Taylor, a beloved Australian marine conservationist who helped film some of the terrifying underwater footage used in the classic shark thriller "Jaws," has died after a long battle with cancer, a close family friend said Monday. He was 78. Taylor, who had suffered from leukemia for two years, died on Sunday at a hospital in Sydney, said Andrew Fox, who worked with Taylor on shark conservation efforts for decades. 'SNL' ADDS NEW CAST MEMBERS: "Saturday Night Live" is adding three new performers for the upcoming season after the departures of Kristen Wiig and Andy Samberg. The sketch comedy show announced Monday that Cecily Strong, Aidy Bryant and Tim Robinson will be joining "SNL" for its 38th season. EMMA WATSON'S FIRST NON-POTTER ROLE: For her first major film role outside of the Potter realm, Emma Watson  chose "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," in which she plays an American teen who's part of a clique of hip outsiders at a Pittsburgh school. The 22-year-old British actress said it gave her a taste of a whole different life considering her upbringing on the set of the Potter franchise, in which she was cast as bookish young hero Hermione Granger at age 9. BOX-OFFICE TOPS: "The Possession" occupied the top spot at a nearly comatose box office. The fright flick with Kyra Sedgwick and Jeffrey Dean Morgan playing the parents of a girl possessed by a demon earned $9.5 million in its second outing, the lowest grossing weekend for the box office this year and one of the worst weekends at the box office in a decade. It marked the first time since 2008 that no film managed to crack the $10 million mark. Guess we won't have many theaters in the future. Here's the top five from the weekend.
1. "The Possession," $9.5 million ($3.5 million international).
2. "Lawless," $6 million ($1.4 million international).
3. "The Words," $5 million.
4. "The Expendables 2," $4.7 million ($14 million international).
5. "The Bourne Legacy," $4 million ($13 million international).
